Long COVID has over 200 symptoms and is diagnosed by elimination-meaning that your family doctor will need to examine you to determine if there are other reasons for the ongoing symptoms. If your family doctor thinks there is no other reason explaining your symptoms, then a diagnosis may be given at 3 months after the initial COVID 19 infection.
